Life & Health Reinsurance

The All Asia Life & Health Reinsurance programme provides reinsurers with a unique evidence base to:
  • fine-tune their client portfolios, target markets, products and services in individual countries as well as across Asia
  • identify specific areas of shortfall in relationship management that constrain their  ability to deepen and broaden client positioning
  • develop more powerful, evidence-based account plans and aligned incentive systems for relationship managers.

The Programme involves an annual review of the competitive positioning of Asia Pacific’s Life & Health reinsurers in terms of ‘Business Quality’. This is measured from the perspective of selected key decision makers with information being gathered by way of structured face-to-face 45-minute interviews.

Business Quality is a composite measure across four core areas:
  • Client Portfolio Quality
  • Relationship Management
  • Operational Management
  • Product & Service Breadth and Delivery

Overall performance is measured by way of an Index of Business Quality, which is also shared at a summary level with all those interviewed.
