Our Strategy Consulting services include market entry assessment, market prioritisation, vision and strategy design, and situational analysis.
Our strategy consulting methodology and processes are the result of many years operational experience in financial services, and reflect NMG's philosophy and positive approach. Strategy is considered holistically, but always views the ultimate customer as the starting point in any development.
A particular area of specialisation is Merger & Acquisition work, where NMG provides advice to buyers and vendors on the attractiveness, structure, approach and value of acquisitions.
For buyers, we can help find suitable partners or targets, based on our client's strategy criteria.
A useful component of this work is our preliminary Valuation models, which gives an order-of magnitude assessment of likely purchase values for different targets. Other M&A work includes advice to purchasers on bid structures, review of vendor memoranda, and a wide range of due diligence investigations (including financial, actuarial, distribution and operations).
E-commerce is an area of increasing importance to our clients, and therefore to us. Although most e-commerce assignments still have a strong distribution focus, we consider e-commerce to be fundamentally a strategic issue that belongs in the boardroom.
